Volunteering

Volunteers are the lifeblood of our club; the time and commitment of passionate members enables our club to function on and off the playing field. Without volunteers, our club would not be as successful as it is; the strength of our club is the positive culture and dedication of our volunteers who tirelessly work together to achieve great things.

Volunteer Policy

We encourage all SBE members to volunteer in some way for the club each season. Volunteer roles vary from season-long commitments such as Committee members, Coaches, and Team Managers to once off activities such as helping out at the Bunnings BBQ, participating in working bees, baking cakes for the annual cake stall or donating prizes for the annual raffle.  Every little bit helps.

We have developed a Volunteer Policy whereby at the time of annual registration, each player (or their parents) will be asked to indicate which volunteer role or activity they would like to undertake during the season. Players or parents who are unable to commit to a volunteer activity, will have the option to choose to pay a $50 annual volunteer levy.
